So when will a baby begin over eating? My son is 4 months old and 17lbs and 26 inches. The Dr said he isn't concerned but that Little Bit will be a big boy. DH was the size of a preschooler at 2 years old so I imagine this kid will be too. He eats ALL the time! Every 2-3 hours he has a 4oz bottle. It was 6oz but we have scaled him back. He can't have solids until at least 6 months because I have horrible food allergies. Today he has been SCREAMING bloody murder when he is hungry which has been about every 2 hours. Maybe it's a growth spurt {again} but I wanted to make sure I wasn't teaching him to comfort eat. I'm really bad about that and I know at some age kids begin learning that habit. 4 months is too young for that right? I just don't want him to associate the bottle with calming down. Have any advice? When should I stop feeding on demand? Thanks mamas!

Being held by daddy. That is a 6'4 man there! His arm length is almost as long as my leg people. Is this baby huge or are there others like him? People think I am lying when I say he is 4 months old. I just don't know.
EDIT: I think he just had a nightmare... he was napping and it is completely silent in here. All of a sudden he freaked out! Maybe he was having nightmares last night with his once an hour wake ups? Hmm... I just don't know.
