Dreaming of Shoes Thursday

This is my newest pair of shoes. I don't have a great shot of them but I do love how they look in this picture. They have little black bows on the end, have moderately high heels, and really give me that classic 1950's housewife look. DH went gaga over seeing me try them on when I brought them home. I was very pleased with the response. lol I got these beauties at the thrift store for $5! They were half off.
You know what? These shoes... they make me happy! Sooo...

I love God, my family, hippos, shoes, and recently coffee. I am also addicted to blogger. Those who are returning friends will notice all the changes I made around here. The Girl Creative wants to know what was the best thing that happened this week. Bible study was pretty good today. I got several free books, Little Bit did well in the nursery, and I got to pay attention to the study this week. DH and I went out to dinner at one of the most romantic places in town... and LB slept through it. Micheal's is having a CLEARANCE SALE!!! I got some good deals there today. And my hands were healed. I was praying for that last week, went to the Dr, he took one look, gave me a prescription and they are healed! No more dryness, eczema or blisters. It was painful and a little scary. My eczema has never manifested as blisters before. It is apparently common in Alaska.

So now.... I think I am all caught up. I missed out on 5 Question Friday and You Capture this week but given today's status and missing DH tonight... well I think I did pretty darn good. I hope any new friends will consider following me. I am changing things up around here and would LOVE to hear what YOU want to read. I of course post about my family and my faith. I write poetry and stories; I D&D with my husband; I love shabby chic and decorating...um... I guess that sums it up. OH! And I am on a mission to lose about 80lbs and drop my BMI under "overweight" status. I am currently obese. So... those are the things I am capable of writing about... what do you want to read?
